Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Being initially inspired by the shadows of trees she observed in the grass, she spent months exploring a process that didn't present the chosen object as a two-dimensional image on canvas. The subject becomes a replica of its own, with the canvas carrying its own interpretation painted by the object, especially when it is a living thing or food item, such as fruit or people. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral, but the photo remains. Since the painting and photographic techniques are coordinated so closely and result in the trompe-l'oeil effect where the illusion of 3D appears only at specific locations, like the region around the eyes and the hair. Meade has also integrated her model paintings into the 3-dimensional space around them. Their interaction and the created environment is conceivable. The result is a blurring of the lines between photography, painting, and installation.
