Coleman was born and raised in the town of the Lancashire town of Blackpool. Coleman graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in A-levels. As she discussed her Emmerdale character, Coleman expressed regret for not attending a university. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while during her time at university. The company performed at the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. The show also received an enthusiastic reception. She was awarded with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman, who was auditioning to join drama colleges in 2005, landed Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two prizes. In 2009 she won nominations in two categories including Best Actress-Sexiest Female as well as Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news conference held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman was to be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat has decided to put her in the role because she has the strongest chemistry with Smith. Additionally, she was quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been in the industry for over 30 years, and has been involved with numerous film and TV projects. Eva has been more prominent on TV than in films. Eva is best known for her roles in the role of Doctor. Maria Santos on All My Children and as the detective Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and allowed her to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is an entrepreneur in addition to an actress. Her third husband is father of her daughter.
