According to a Reuters interview, she described her album as half tumultuous and half complete. The singer says that she experienced growth through therapy. Alessia Cara is a Canadian singer who was born on the 11th of July, 1996 to parents from Italian origin. In 2010, her parents gave her a brand-new guitar, which she used to further develop her passion for music. At the age of thirteen, she began singing songs she loved on YouTube to demonstrate to people that she was talented and was able to go after a career as an artist. Actually she covered one of her song Sweater Weather became the song that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to write and create her own music.
