Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and activist for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. Her first job was as a photo assistant then turned to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After just three short films she was deemed one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
